EASD Barcelona 2019 congress

The EASD Congress is the annual meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes. This is the third time that this important meeting is held in Barcelona and will take place from September 16 to 20 in the Gran Via exhibition center of Fira de Barcelona.

The Barcelona EASD 2019 celebrates its 55th edition and hopes to bring together some 15,000 participants from different countries around the world. It is one of the most important conferences in the whole world related to diabetes.

The best Diabetes experts will meet in Barcelona

In order to stimulate interaction, dialogue and debate among the world community of diabetes experts, the conference program will once again be the showcase of high quality science, presenting the latest results of basic, transactional and diabetes clinic. The scientific program not only analyzes the future, but also deals with current treatments, technologies, education and assistance. In total, more than 1,200 presentations, symposia, lectures and debates will be held.

For the third time, Barcelona will be the host city of the EASD Annual Meeting after having previously hosted the conference in 1998 and 2013.
