The Barcelona Gastronomic Forum will be held from November 18 to 20, 2019 at the Montjuïc venue of Fira de Barcelona under the motto “(Re) thinking gastronomy”, with which the show will make a call for introspection about the current culinary moment. For this, the forum will count with the participation of the protagonists of the gastronomic proposals of some of the current Spanish restaurants with most personality in Spain, Italy, France, Denmark and Canada.
The event has different areas where activities will be held: the Auditorium, where presentations and true culinary shows will be showcased by the best chefs in the world such as Jordi Cruz, Niko Romito, Carme Ruscalleda, Paco Pérez or Ramus Munk among others; the Talleres (Workshops), an area with a capacity of 30 to 60 people, where cooking demonstrations will be held with final tasting; the Àgora space, which will allow exhibitors to make demonstrations and tastings of their products; the Wine Forum, where the best winemakers, wine experts, sommeliers and prescribers will explain their secrets and exchange experiences with the public; the Sweet Forum, where the best specialists in the sector will offer sessions with an outstanding role of bakery, ice cream and bakery; and the Forum Lab, a space dedicated to innovation with many debates, reflections, round tables, and conferences around three thematic axes: technology, sustainability and business.
3rd edition of the Gastronomic Forum of Barcelona
The Gastronomic Forum of Barcelona is an expanding event and in only 3 editions it has managed to position itself as one of the main events of the gastronomic circuit.
The forum will completely occupy pavilion 8 of the Montjuïc venue of Fira de Barcelona, with a total of 6,000 square meters of net exhibition area and 4,000 square meters of space dedicated to activities. It is expected that the event will count with over 500 brands, more than 300 exhibitors and that it will attract more than 30,000 visitors.
