The Handmade Festival will celebrate its 5th edition at Fira de Barcelona from May 11 to 13, the handicrafts fair for professionals but open to everyone. The fair is divided into 5 sectors: Thread, Paper, Home improvement, Decoration, Gardening and Children, and will feature exhibitors, workshops, master classes, concerts, markets, demonstrations, work areas and activities for the whole family.
On this occasion, the Handmade Festival will have as main theme the Nordic culture and the new fashion trend in Europe, the “hygge”, a philosophy born in Denmark that responds to a way of understanding and living life based in well-being, relaxation and tranquility.
The Festival will count with the participation of 150 exhibitors, hundreds of activities, many of them free, between workshops, master classes and exhibitions, turning Barcelona into the city par excellence of Do-It-Yourself or, for short, of DIY.
